Built with Google’s powerful models, including the Gemini 1.5 Pro model, this new side panel boasts a longer context window and advanced reasoning capabilities. This means more insightful and accurate responses based on larger datasets. For example, ask Gemini to summarize emails from your child’s school or highlight key points from a PTA meeting recording you missed.
The beauty of having Gemini in the Workspace side panel is that you don't have to leave your email or document to research, brainstorm, or gather information. For instance, if you’re planning a family reunion and need hotel information from a Google Doc, you can simply ask Gemini to retrieve it and insert it directly into your reply.
