## Google Workspace AI Expanded Access Add-On Is Here

In February 2026, Google introduced the AI Expanded Access add-on for Google Workspace. If your team has been hitting Gemini usage limits, this is the upgrade designed for you. It also signals where Google is heading with AI in the workplace.

### What AI Expanded Access Unlocks

- Deep reasoning with Gemini 3 Pro
- Advanced image generation with Nano Banana Pro
- Professional video creation with Veo 3.1
- Live speech translation in Google Meet
- Higher usage across Gemini app, NotebookLM, and Workspace Studio

### Important for Thai Businesses

Starting March 1, 2026, promotional expanded access ends. If your team relies heavily on advanced Gemini features such as image generation, video production, or deep reasoning, you will need the AI Expanded Access add-on to maintain that level of usage.

#### Standard Access Included

- Help Me Write in Gmail
- Gemini in Docs and Sheets side panel
- AI meeting notes in Google Meet

#### AI Expanded Access Add-On

Designed for teams that use AI daily and need advanced capabilities, higher limits, and production-level output.

### Operational Leverage for Thai Teams

Workspace Studio, previously known as Flows, is now generally available. You can build automations ranging from simple email labeling to complex workflows that create pre-meeting briefs and auto-generate follow-up tasks.

Live speech translation in Google Meet is also rolling out. It translates speech in real-time while maintaining tone and voice. For Thai companies collaborating internationally, this removes friction from cross-border communication.

### Better Visibility for IT Teams

New Gemini usage and threshold reports in the Admin console allow IT managers to see exactly how teams use AI features. This insight helps determine whether AI Expanded Access is necessary or if standard limits are sufficient.

### Make the Right AI Licensing Decision

Digigen is a certified Google Cloud Partner in Thailand. We help businesses navigate licensing changes and ensure your Workspace investment delivers measurable productivity gains. We do not just provide licenses. We align AI capabilities to your real workflows.
